Corny, I know. But, for the longest time, I got derailed on my way to doing what I've always wanted to do, and that's work in film. More specifically, the first job I ever wanted as a kid was to be a director. Not a fireman, policeman, doctor... pfffft, screw making a difference! I'm here to depress you with sad, morose stories. Jokes aside, I found myself gravitating to the writing side of things as I got older and went to college for Games Design. What a mammoth waste of money that was! There's basically no industry here in Australia, and very few specialised positions anymore. If you can't programme, then you're pretty much worthless these days. No, what I should have been doing was pursuing this. My first real love. A dream I talked myself out of for being too unrealistic. But, I now have a high level of confidence and belief in my "film IQ" and this particular screenplay I am working on. I'm sick of accepting others' doubts and letting that influence me. Anyway, glad to be on here. That was long. I hate myself for it already. Look forward to chatting with some like-minded people.

Thanks Aray! See, I'd avoid anything where I could break my neck. Singing, you can learn and get better, but that's one of those things where many people have a natural talent for it. Bah, who wants all those crazy groupies anyway! ;) And thanks Matt, for the invite as well. Its funny, even though I mentioned wasting time, and you brought up it never being too late, I am still only 25... but I feel like I should be further down the road, so to speak.
