"THE RUGGER BUGGERS BAWDY SONG FEST” We need actors and a low cost theatre in London...and funds of course. WE ARE LIVE!!! I was the Line Producer on “GENOCIDE” an Academy Award winning film with Orson Welles and Elizabeth Taylor and the director/cinematographer on “THE MAKING OF STAR WARS”. Well those day are long gone, I now find myself writing stage musicals. Wish me luck on this one! It's the last hurrah! “THE RUGGER BUGGERS BAWDY SONG FEST” is my stage musical exampling all that is outrageous in traditional rugby songs, I have on licence over 100 recorded songs to use as backing tracks. Writing and casting is underway for ten actors as heroes and villains in comedy sketches reflecting the very different lyrics. A master of ceremonies will be cast who is constantly bantering with both audience and actors. Audience participation will be encouraged. The potential for a karaoke singing audience is enormous with screens around the theatre for a rugby ball bouncing to indicate the lyrics for the audience to sing-along. The first performances will be videotaped and a DVD and CD will be available. Distribution will promote the show in all English speaking countries and many rugby playing countries.
