I would love any suggestion regarding "comedy short film festivals." My comedic short film FYD is a fun little piece and I would love to get it into as many festivals as possible. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Chad McCord
Hey Chad, I've seen comedy shorts at most festivals and they always seem to be welcome. Do fest research though. If not family-friendly don't send to Heartland (great fest). Check out the films that fests have screened, monitor for comedy. I work with the Prescott Film Fest. It's a good fest, rising in notability. They treat you great. Sedona is an amazing fest that treats filmmakers like royalty... the afterparties are amazing... great food and venues where you can actually hear other filmmakers and have a conversation. Also, HollyShorts, great local fest in LA. And Sunscreen. Beverly Hills and Burbank, too. If you go to Oscars.org you can get a list of Oscar-qualifiers if you've not done that.

Thanks Philip. I will check out those suggestions.
