On Writing : Marketing for Indie YA/NA Authors by Author Jason Blayne

Marketing for Indie YA/NA Authors

I've written 2 YA/NA novels and the 3rd of the series is about half way finished now. I use FB and Instagram mainly to market but it's difficult in my genre. I would love to find my target audience and even find anyone who could help me pitch my series to anyone in the film or TV industry because at every event I've worked readers of all genre's have told me it would be something special to see my stories come to life because the way they're written you can see it vividly. So anyone who knows an agent or anyway to get my pinky toe into the door would be a great help. Thank you.

Who's your writing coach?

I don't have one, everything is done "in house" for now

I'm believe if we're training to go pro, we need a mentor, or coach. Like a boxer in the ring we need our corner. Or else we don't know what we don't know and what we need to know to go pro. Completion of projects is great. Anything less than a well-written, well-told story is not. I suggest S32 coverage, or any coverage by a pro, to get a feel for your level of craft. Danny Manus is my guy.
