Just a heads up to people who are sending out query letters to Hollywood – if you don't know about Variety Insight, check it out. It's IMDb Pro on steroids. There are a lot more email addresses, but it's expensive. However, if you join you can get emails like the one I got that says,
"Miramax cannot accept or review your submissions as Miramax has a policy not to accept or review any unsolicited submissions.
Thank you for your inquiry and interest in Miramax.
Best regards."

Long ago I found out that filmmakers won't accept query letters. The best bet is to get in touch with a producer who loves what you write and is willing to take on the project and shepherd it through the maze of requirements requisite to making a film.
