I promised a sick girl that she can be my date to the Academy Awards

In my screenplay, I promise a sick girl that she can be my date to the Academy Awards. She is 21. Her life expectancy is 25-30. My only visit to the Academy Awards is from my sofa. I have zero contacts. I am greener than Boston on St. Patrick's Day. But what I do have is the story of a sweet, sick girl who is bullied until the football team came to her rescue. The bullying stopped. Newspapers and TV stations worldwide covered the story after a story was written about it on Facebook. The team wasn't supposed to be that good, but they became America's Team, and with the dying girl as their good luck charm, they won the State High School Football Championship in the final seconds of the game on a safety. It is an amazing story that causes people to cry with happiness. It is a better story than The Blind Side. It is as inspirational as Rudy. What are the chances that a first-time screenwriter can produce material that will win an Academy Award and an Emmy? Apparently minus zero. Well, I'd be happy if someone would just take my date to the Awards.
