Nice share. All hail Mae, and her curator.
While these conversations we're having now are incredibly important and the consequences being brought forth against these men are warranted, these companies that likely knew of at least some of these allegations when they went into business with these men shouldn't get all of our praise just because they've decided to dump them when that's now the only choice they really have. -- this text was copied from a published article

It seems like it'll be easier to list who's not an abuser at this rate.
Christine Baker Well, the scales of judgment are weighing mainly on the Hollywood MALE side, eh? How disgusting it must be to be in the midst of such a FILTH-mart.

LindaAnn Loschiavo This has been going on since they first said Lights! Camera! Action!. Perhaps finally the abuse will stop. We can only hope that the FEAR we all have(Women &Men) turns into FAITH. Boy! HOLLYWOOD sure loves a SCANDAL! But this is too much. Really too much!!
You see"scandal." But I see "judgment day" and speaking the truth to power. Steven Harris Anzelowitz

LindaAnn Loschiavo I AM agreeing with 100% you said. It is speaking the 'TRUTH TO POWER'. And I hope it is 'JUDGEMENT DAY' for both SEXES that have abused this power. I just used the word "scandal" for emphasis. I am on YOUR side.

I think this will change the industry forever....

LindaAnn Loschiavo and Janet Elizabeth Swainston : Change is good. But keep in mind this is a 100 year culture of the "CASTING COUCH". We all live in this Internet has to happen NOW world. So as much as we all want change there will be some frustration ahead. Justice WILL be served. But, remember this is an ingrained practice that has gone on for over 100 years when they still had Black & White and silent movies. I am certain down the years all the greats of Cinema did these disgusting acts of sexual power and abuse. And that doesn't make it right. We will be in the midst of this "SCANDAL" or "JUDGEMENT DAY" or "ABUSE OF POWER" or whatever else you want to call it for quite some time. Let us hope that some GOOD change comes from it and most importantly we learn to respect each other as HUMAN not just a MALE or FEMALE object of carnal pleasure and domination Yeeech!!!

Steven...I agree that change is slow, especially with something this ingrained....but it will change and we will have to go through a culture of suspicion and accusations for some time to come. And yes, there is hope that we all learn to unlearn these bad behaviours. But, again, I think the winds of change are blowing!

Janet Elizabeth Swainston May the WINDS blow at Hurricaine strength. All we can do is have some FAITH that they do. Because the other side of FEAR is always FAITH. HARVEY ever comes anywhere near my set here in NYC BUBBA has orders to bar him. PERIOD.

Anybody kicking Woody Allen off a NYC set? He's got an $80mil deal with Amazon.

I haven't watched a Woody Allen film in years .. he has always creeped me out...even though some of his films are brilliant....I can't support the art that supports the artist....it's like paying for a drug addict's drugs ... nope....Amazon might want to find an escape clause for that contract....

I have not seen a Woody Allen film in decades. He is boring, creepy, stuck in a May-December rom-com mode. That said, Woody's day is coming. Don't you worry! Dan MaxXx

Can we not agree? Sleeper was a funny film.
Have to put in my two cents. WOODY ALLEN is a genius when it comes to telling a story on film. He is the reason I got into screenwriting in the first place. I am in no way going to condone any "casting couch" behavior by ANY film creative whether MALE or FEMALE. Let the comments begin.

Not a question of talent. If they have committed a crime, they should be treated as a criminal and pay for it. Though I doubt any amount would be enough.
" If you can't do the time, don't do the crime" This has nothing to do with TALENT. Ken- I think you misinterpreted my comments. I stated CLEARLY that I do not CONDONE that kind of BEHAVIOR. If you do a CRIME it does not matter what kind of TALENT you have. Period. I hope you understand that now. However, he is still a GENIUS when it comes to telling a story on film. And I have to use my BLUNT BROOKLYN upbringing for this comment. But, Hey OPINIONS are like ASSHOLES. Everybody has got one. Not that you an ASSHOLE but just saying everybody is allowed to voice their OPINION. You have yours. I have mine. Except that guy on the morgue table in 'MEN IN BLACK' he did not have an ASSHOLE but then again he was not from EARTH. LindaAnn Loschiavo You really started a great thread here. Nice to take a break from MAE sometimes, Huh?
JD Hartman Just Sleeper? Okay here we go: Bananas, Annie Hall, Radio Days, Midnight in Paris, To Rome with Love, Manhattan, Small Time Crooks, Take The Money & Run, The Purple Rose of Cairo, Mighty Aphrodite, Whatever Works, Play It Again Sam, Zelig.
My bad. I've been called worst.
Ken- I did not call you ANYTHING. Just making a GENERAL statement about Humanity. That's all. Have a nice day. Please?

Oh yes I know. I didn't mean that you did. Sorry it's so easy to misunderstand I was kidding.
anybody here commenting about Hollywood actually work in Hollywood Entertainment/American show biz? or are we all dreamers and couch potatoes?
Dan MaxXx- Some do. Some don't. But it is nice to have a dream of working in Hollywood as long as we are willing to learn. I think that's why "RB" started Stage32 in the first place. Now "couch potatoes" I this nk since NETFLIX more of us are.
That should be think not this nk. Sorry really have to watch my typos. Especially since I am trying to write screenplays. Last thing I want is a script reader to see is typos. Sure red flag for a quick pass on your script.

Hey Dan Max....Mister Negative Nelly....what does it matter if we work in Hollywood or not? What does that have to do with knowing that predators are infesting an industry and making it bad for everyone? Sheesh, do you EVER have anything positive to say? Man, what a downer!

Anyone actually read this "list?" I dunno... but the person who put this thing together is taking liberties, making leaps with some... I see lawsuits ahead. And not the legal action for sexual assault victims that we all would like to see happen.

Beth, I read it ... and you are right...many on this list are speculative ... obviously this person just posted their opinion on who they think is a predator.
Yup Beth, list is suspect as the author. She names exPresidents but left out current Prez Trump.
Oh well... pick and choose your hypocrites. I saw Richard Dryfuss on list. Bummer. I had dinner with him one time.
Right, this doesn't seem... I dunno, vetted?—for lack of a better word. This list also lists people outside of Hollywood—politicans, business leaders, musicians, etc. Yeah, I noticed the Predator in Chief, Trump, is missing too... what's up with that? Anyway, to put some of these accused people on the same list as factually or more solidly proven sexual abusers whose cases have multiple credible sources, are substantiated with evidence/witnesses, who may be facing criminal charges... That could backfire. Some could bring defamation/libel lawsuits. But who knows? Maybe some more information will come to light to strengthen some of these accusations and bring charges or end careers. Again, we all would like to see these guys held accountable for their horrifying actions. But... I dunno, I ask... Is this public "shaming" helpful? I have mixed feelings here... These monsters should be exposed. Absolutely!!! But with non-vetted slander? I dunno... False cases/claims affect victims too. It's hard enough to come forward... The fifth victim to come forward in the Roy Moore case was incredibly brave. She made a detailed statement on camera, with her lawyer, and said she would testify to a Congressional Committee under oath should she be asked. Wow, just a brave, brave person. I was in tears listening to her press conference. Anyway, as we move forward... I hope the overall conversation starts to include where we go from here. What changes/policies can be made to help ensure safety and well being in the industry, in any and all industries? Like no more auditions or meetings in hotel rooms, etc. ;)
Janet Elizabeth Swainston You have to get to know Dan MaxXx he has a lot of experience in the industry. He is not really a Mister Negative Nelly. He is just forthright and speaks his mind. And that at times helps us all learn about the industry.

LindaAnn Loschiavo With the "list" now being put into question by a moderator Beth Fox Heisinger and others it might be a good idea to "STAY with MAE". I mean I think it's great you want to share content but next time you might want to double check the article for facts. Your call. This is just a suggestion from a fellow Metro New York Stage32 member who has a great deal of respect for you and wishes you would please find a way to open the MUSEUM!

Steven, my comments are directed at the article and its writer, or rather the person who compiled this list on Yahoo, not LindaAnn. I'm just adding to the conversation, to this thread discussion. ;)

Steven Harris Anzelowitz I trust in the intelligence of the Stage32 membership to read any articles they choose to & make up their own minds. Might be some Russian trolls here -- but I am not! :-D

LindaAnn Loschiavo I know that. And it is important that you shared this content. As has been expressed by others, let's hope some changes are made to the industry. Beth Fox Heisinger I know that and Linda and I share with each other all the time she is a fellow New York member. It's good that she is sharing more than just MAE. But she knows how I feel and support her to open a MAE WEST MUSEUM.
bummer. Ratpac Ent requested my script before Brett's personal life became global news. Anybody know where they moved their offices? Ratpac is still partners with Warner Bros . Love the Rush Hour movies.
"Rat Pac" - such a suitable name. lol
