Paula, there's a big difference between a movie or a miniseries. I would suggest write your script as a feature film. In the Indie World, there are all sorts of opportunities. Certainly more than television, where if you don't have a top showrunner or someone to pitch your miniseries, I believe it's a bit more difficult to get made. Depending on the budget, you can make it independently if you don't get major funding. You certainly give yourself a better chance, I believe.
