Named by the great Houdini "Buster", Keaton was born on 4th october, 1895 in Piqua (Woodson County, Kansas). During an interview in later life, the interviewer asked Buster how he performed all those stunts without getting hurt. Buster said that he got hurt, all right, and proceeded to list all the bruises and scars he'd amassed. He even broke his neck during that famous railroad watering station scene! He just didn't let his bumps and bruises get in the way of a good laugh.
