Yeah, but don't ignore some of those adjectives this article sneaks in: "good" actors. "Skilled" reading. I live in NYC and know tons of actors. But cold reading is a specific skill. I stopped doing readings because I found that if I brought in 5 actors, at least 2 of them would stink and it would be of very limited use for all the time and effort involved.

Anyone who can get a stable of enough skilled cold readers to cover all the roles, sure this could be helpful. But that's hard to do, in my experience.
