Faith Based Project Blog and Download provided by Nikki Hersey and Anne Marie Gillen for $49!

Starting with the Passion for Christ and Hacksaw Ridge that took 15 years to bring the Theaters, I must point out the Passion for Christ the #1 and #2 Hacksaw Ridge ( Two Academy Awards ) are the highest grossing films in History for that Genre! I pitched " Summer Camp " a Faith Based Family Film that I received no comment or a reason it was passed on, so, I have come to the conclusion that I must raise the financing myself with a unique and unprecedented approach to raise the budget myself! I have made a commitment to bring films to the NW Market and learning the education from this platform; there are key elements that must be considered. Using the formula Low Budget High ROI, I have reached out to two well identified Female and Male leads, two Executive Producers, a Line Producer, NW Actor's, an Extra's Casting Director, IATSE Production Crews, Site Location identified! In regard to mentor ship, I have engaged the Film and Video Departments from Life Christian Church, where we Produced the Martin Luther King Jr. Video for Black History Month that I performed in and Central Washington University Film and Video Department, my Alma Mater, for development of the next generation of Film and TV Professionals with funding support from the Washington Film Works! The budget is based on the Low Budget Agreement with Sag-Aftra of less than $2,500,000 and has a Diversity in Casting Incentive. This will guarantee union wages! Goal is for 2019. Community-at-Large support is also taken into consideration! So, if there is one thing I have learned from You RB is how to create a Team for success! Thanks and Ciao! I have Faith in my abilities that God's Grace has blessed me with, as fear is the enemy, and I will cross over the Lake; when I thought Jesus was sleeping and the boats will follow! Have Some Fun Today! Isaiah 40:31.

Great, great job! It's so great to see people not just complaining and feel sorry for themselves but do things and take the matter in their own hands. You did some heavy lifting and leg work, my man. Keep building the value for your project. Money usually come for well structured deals. If somehow you would cover the development cost that boat with the right team on board will go distance for sure. Willpower is in your mind. Best of luck.

Thanks my Brother! The development cost or pre-production cost would be to apply for funds from the Washington Film Works Commission when the call for applications are let or before! I spent three years of my time as an advocate for the WFW Commission, working both sides of the aisle, to get a bill signed into law to raise the budget from $3.5M to $10M for ten years! The Film and Video Departments would be Summer Projects for the students! I am not at liberty to divulge the Producers and Star Actors for Legal reasons, that I am sure you understand! But, the Line Producer is an Attorney and Actor within our Seattle Local. I will not rely on Indigogo, Go Fund Me or Generosity to set up a Crowd Funding campaign, but, they are not out of the question, if I want to raise funds to increase the budget beyond the Sag-Aftra Low Budget agreement! My experience as a 30 year Corporate Executive experience ( Retired ) where I have raised millions of dollars for my community as a Public Figure, Board President and Volunteer Board Member for several Non-profit organizations and agencies, and the only Black Male Actor in good standing in the Seattle Local and the Co-Founder of the American Scene Awards ( 1986 ) and a funded delegate to the upcoming 2019 National Convention, gives me the credibility and as far as branding myself, I am recognized worldwide outside of our profession! I am the CEO for my own Motion Picture Corporation EIN pending and registered with the Secretary of State for the State of Washington! The journey has been long, but, I am just getting started! All Clergy from all denominations in Tacoma know me as always doing my best to do good for all concerned! Should Have become a Preacher, but, I know the Lord has other plans for me before I am called to join the Heavenly Choir as God is my Witness! God first, my Fellow Man second and I am third. Matthew 28:19,20

Having a right producer on board is a key. Make sure he/she knows not just development, production but also distribution. Every aspect of filmmaking is important and can make you or break you. Due diligence and a common sense. Sounds like you are on a right path. God bless.

Not to be ungrateful, but, tell me something I don' t already know! The Executive Producers that I have known since the '80's based in Beverly Hills, Van Nuys and San Francisco, as well as, here in Seattle/Tacoma where I reside, are already on my Team. But, since I have a ( S ) Corporation where all films will be LLC's under the Umbrella the pieces are in place, but, it is a Blessing to be able to pursue this mission as Jesus told me to do to take care of our people! At age 69, with a proven track record of building economic development, the only goal is to meet the shoot deadline in 2019 for release in 2020! So, young man follow my lead and continue your education, as this is a very brutal business! Peace Out!

I think we are on different page here. I was not talking about Executive Producers. EPs are mostly money people, sometimes EP credit is given to casting directors for pulling a name talent into the project. Sales agents can be EPs too if they help to finance your film through pre-sales. Even a line producers or your 1st AD can reciieve EP credit under certain circumstances. Producer is a different animal with very extended responsibilities and set of skills. So don’t mix apples and oranges here, my friend. They are all fruit but they are different. I hope I clarified that for you.

Tony Ginn

Do you know what an ( S ) Corporation is?

Don Diego

Had one in a past. And?

Tony Ginn

Good! First, I have several businesses under my Umbrella for Amalgamated Cinema and Entertainment! Second, that puts the Executive Producers in second position to invest in Films! Every one says in this network not to send material to Executive Producers, as they do not accept unsolicited materials, but, in my case I have over 30 year personal friendships with Mace Neufeld Productions, Make-Believe Entertainment and God First Productions that is on my Team for " Summer Camp " that I am leading with as my debut as a Writer and Producer! They all know that I have had a 30 year Corporate Executive career ( Retired ) and say only do your own thing and in a couple of cases, they have told me they will keep me in mind for a part! So, go to www.Linkedin.com a connect with me there! I don't know what you are working on right now, but, I have been a member of Sag-Aftra since 1978 and an Independent! Sag-Aftra ID: 10050998! So Union Wages Only! If your projects are as a Signatory, then, we are cool, but, if in any of your productions you hire non-union talent, I will not be available for you to hire me! So, this is my position and I wish you well! I will not reply to you with any more comments as I am to busy! I Have scripted a Sci Fi the Void: the Beginning in the War of the Worlds, The Robert Johnson Story " Man with the Blues ", The Buffalo Soldiers True Story " Medal of Honor ", " Kidnapped " a TV Episodic Detective Story and have to Documentaries that are in process! The Most important is about my Grandfather, Joe Jordan, World Renown, Ragtime Composer www.Hamptonu.edu Peabody Collection, who was the first Black Millionaire in Chicago in 1925! So, Your comments are well received, but, I am in the middle of voter registration to get out the Vote to vote in the upcoming mid-terms! Also, supporting candidates running for office! I wear many hats! God Bless and I wish you well in all of your endeavors!
