Sadly, our home for filming the developing Badland Wives has been destroyed by the California Woosley fire. We were one of the last productions to film at this iconic Western town and movie site. Such an honor. RIP Paramount Ranch.
(photos) The charred tree to the extreme right is the same iridescent overhanging tree towering above bullwhip Jenny Hardin (MaryRose Cadenhead) in this production still from our action cameras. Calamity Jane (Tara Patrick) and Big Ally Holston (Amanda Hernandez) also pictured. The sheriff building now lays in ashes in the foreground. The show will go on.

A tragedy indeed - that pales in comparison to lives lost, human and animal - but to the history of our industry.
Old Tucson endured such a fate years ago to most of its lot. It is now rebuilt and ready to go... as are western locations affiliated with Old Tucson and Gammons Gulch east of Tucson by less than an hour.
We would welcome any production to Southern Arizona, which has amazing terrain that is not shot out as well.
Here's to the continuing filming of westerns and such shows all going on.
A very sad loss of history indeed (I think MASH was shot there). The loss of a few sets is sad but minimal when I think of the personal devastation and tragedy faced by residents. My heartfelt prayers go out to all. I have a few friends and acquaintances in Malibu who I can't reach right now. Worry is high as is hope.
Truly sorry, heartbroken to hear n see watching it in the news, those lives lost, everything that is lost but memories will carry on, prayers for everyone facing this right now
Truly sorry to read this. But please get another place. It's never to give up!
