Hello Filmmakers,
We are in the process of launching a new streaming platform dedicated to independent films and shows, and we need content. The website just went online but we are still tweaking it to make sure everything works as expected. We want to test it for a few weeks before we actually go live and start promoting it to get more users.
Filmmakers can use SharpKick to stream their films and gain exposure. But it is not a VOD platform where you can earn royalties or other forms of compensation. The idea is to offer a service similar to Netflix, as opposed to sites like youtube where you can find any kind of videos.
It is free to join and watch, eventually there will be a fee to get your film in our library, but for now, there is no fee for those who want to help us get this started by sending us your films.
