Introduce Yourself : This is my third "career"... Actor, Screenwriter, and (part-time) Filmmaker. by Mark Bracich

After retiring as a US Air Force colonel and combat rescue helicopter pilot, I spent the subsequent ten years as a Colorado rancher and wilderness horseback outfitter in the San Juan Mountains.

It was time to move on to less "body-damaging" pursuits, so I got an MFA in Creative Writing, focused on screenwriting, and took up my long-forgotten passion for acting, scoring a lead role in an indie feature being released next year and several other short projects. I started making my own short films out of necessity to build a reel and the frustration of trying to obtain footage from past projects in a timely manner. To help with that, I start my BS in Digital Cinematography next month.

I'm on my own schedule, so I can travel for paid acting gigs, and look forward to making some good connections with talented people.
