Good Morning, everyone!! I have crossed over to explore the other side of the camera. I am auditioning to be accepted to a performing arts school, majoring in film. I just completed my audition video and would love to have someone who knows the world behind the camera to take a look and give me some feedback (Please be honest, but be gentle - I'm 13 and this is my first official attempt at a film beyond silly, non-film related school projects!). I wrote, cast, directed, produced and edited it all myself over 2 months time in the midst of regular academics work and acting auditions and roles. It was so difficult cutting so much great footage to stay within the 3-5 minute range that I'm thinking of MAYBE doing a longer version as a short film. Let me know if you have 5 minutes to view it! Thank you :) UPDATE - Just to clarify, I have not made this video public and would send the link thru Stage32 messaging to any interested party for feedback purposes! It is NOT my old demo reel in my profile

I think they are really great. There are some technical glitches with the audio (including a laugh track is not a good idea). Since you're using this as a resume, I suggest that you do a monologue (without other characters) so that you can more fully focus on your personal delivery and style. I think you're comin' on strong... keep it comin'.
OH! You were viewing an old demo reel I have...I actually was going to send the link to a video I created to anyone who would be willing to view it and give feedback...May I add you to my network even if it's just long enough to send it to you? Thank you so much, Doug!

Olyvia, thanx for the invite but sadly no - you're just to far away. Were you located in my neighborhood, I'd gladly produce a marketing monologue for you. All the best to you.
Thank you, Doug... I wasn't seeking marketing, but I do extend sincere well wishes to you as well :)
I did view it on Vimeo, and I must say I am impressed. It's well produced and believe me when I say that it's very close to the truth. It could use a little tweaking on the lighting (not much) and a desperating sounding score would add a little. Maybe you can connect with a composer right here on S32 to help with that. (Hey guys - that's a hint!)
