Synopsis:

Based on actual events, this is the true story of Florence Schaffner and Tina Mucklow, two flight attendants with only two years of experience each. On one cold fall evening, they are assigned to work together as part of the flight crew of Northwest Airlines Flight 305. During flight, Flo is handed a notecard by a male passenger but disregards it. Written on the notecard is, "I have a bomb in my briefcase. I will use it if necessary. I want you to sit next to me because you are being hijacked."

Flo shows the notecard to Tina who like Flo keeps quiet about it. They then tell the pilot and co-pilot of the airplane who orders them to keep the passengers safe and calm. Flo and Tina oblige as the passengers are escorted off of the plane upon landing in Seattle. The hijacker remains on board but does not hurt Tina, Flo, the pilot, and co-pilot.

After the hijacker's non-violent demands are met, the flight resumes but as a return flight to Portland where it came from. The hijacker opens a back flight of stairs and jumps out of the plane as the plane flies over a large wooded area.
