Didn't want to go to college but I went to compete in track. Found out I wasn't a "stud" in sports anymore. I wanted to write but that was for northeasterners and "intellects" I was told.
I became an engineering major, lasted a semester.I became an English major. Made sense because I placed out of all my freshman classes in high school. Lasted a semester.
I became a business major. lasted a semester.
Decided to make my parents happy and became a pre-med major. Lasted a year.
Finally, I pursued my heart's ambition and rote about sports, the guys who were beating me. I even got a TV gig syndicated on NBC. I parlayed that into sports management and toured the world for over a decade learning different cultures, languages and global situations. I became of the top agents, known around the globe.
Then at 36, I saw what I had. Money, notoriety, status and it was even fun to have a girlfriend in every continent but I wanted a family. I retired and pursued my first passion. Today, I write and share my decades of life experience in each book and screenplay I author. My name is Troy. I'm not one of the cool kids.... yet. My phone is ringing, from major studios to on-demand paid subscriptions. I'd rather be your friend now rather than later.
