D.B. Coulson, creative author, songwriter and time traveler from the beach in Laguna Beach to Granbury, Texas. Where the hell did I put that phone booth?

Just re-wrote my historical fiction, thriller series about evolution of the human species with a group known as, RISE OF THE GENETIKONS, by D.B. Coulson. Lumbered my way through my first made for TV, 60 minute pilot using Final Draft. Probably need some help on this one. Hard to make that leap from narrative author to screen play writer filling in all the blanks on action between character dialog. Probably the greatest GENERAL category in Hollywood history. Ha, Ha. Oh well, I get by with a little help from my friends. Halloween is just around the corner.

I finally learned my lesson on writer to screenplay adaptation, HIRE A PRO! It is a complicated transition to go from a book series to a made for TV series to get some one to spend the time to think it through, it appears. It is not a stand alone screenplay with three acts. Act three never comes until the end of the series. It appears there are many definitive action episodes or event episodes that bring one particular segment to an end but going from act two to act three involves the final episode of the series. How do you convey this to a script-writer that is creating a script for a contest or writers competition event? Is there a special formula for this type of screenplay writing?
