I was wondering if there are opportunities to be doing BG for filming in London,ON area? Are there people out there like myself who would like to do more work in our area? It’s tough travelling to Toronto all the time so when they do some filming in my home town of St.Thomas, I’d like the opportunity to be able to apply but I always seem to find out as they are filming....is there a network of people in and around the London area I can connect with? Any talent agents in my area?

I`m a Screenwriting Student at the London Film School. The MA filmmaking students there usually look for actors/actresses to play in their films, some of them get paid too. So probably you could reach out for them? Especially as they are trying to build up a network too. :-)

Hi Jessica. Right now you have a great opportunity to network at the Forest City Film Festival. Even though I'm closer to Toronto, I'm attending a screening tonight with a Q&A after, and hopefully will get a chance to meet a few people. Take advantage of the events in your area...you never know where they'll lead.
