Anything Goes : Hollywood Silver Screen Festival by Katherine Phillips

Hollywood Silver Screen Festival

I went to my first Film Festival a few weeks ago the 'Hollywood Silver Screen Festival'.

I had so much fun going and have been so pumped up about it that I decided to go to school and learn film.

I've been helping run a Film group in Fontana for about a year and have been working off of watching a ton of youtube videos about film. That didn't prepare me for actually making films though. There's so much you learn from each shoot it's amazing.

We've only made about 3 complete short films in the time I've been with them but I'm having a great time.

I honestly wrote this to thank Pat the woman at the door who invited me to come and all of the people doing the panels. There was so much valuable information they were supplying I appreciated every moment of it.

Have a great day everyone!

Keep in mind that a career in the film industry ban be a rewarding experience but you have to keep in mind that it's a profession that requires your full commitment. It's not a fantasy world an' nobody owes you nothin'' All the best in your quest.

I have no illusions of grandeur. I just want to perfect my craft enough that I can get something steady enough that I can stand behind or stand with a camera and live a happy life.

You know Doug the most important thing I think is that my work challenges me.
