Pitch: A thriller in the vein of Christopher Nolan's film "Memento" and Michael Haneke's film "Cache."
Synopsis: Alice and her childhood crush Brian drift apart after witnessing the brutal murder of two friends. Twenty years later, they unexpectedly reunite in college only to have their renewed romance interrupted when they begin receiving messages from two people claiming to be their murdered friends.
Many people have said since I posted this that this would be perfect for a low-budget Blumhouse production, but I hate to say this, but Blumhouse has always been hit-or-miss IMO.
Out of all Blumhouse's stuff, I have enjoyed "Get Out", "Us", "Whiplash" (I just wanted to smack JK Simmons' character in the face so much...what an asshole! However, Simmons definitely deserved his Oscar for his performance.), "The Gift", "The Visit", "Black Klansman", "Halloween 2018", and "Glass."
