Well, although this rap music video that I made (and directed) was originally done as a funny message to my son ("Fine, I'll Write My Own Damn Song" - a 56-year old mom sends a message to her rapper son when he invites other family members to collaborate on his music, but not her. https://youtu.be/7Xe3nuVDkC4 ) - I ended up entering it into some festivals. So far, in the past few months, it's been chosen as an Official Selection in the Cleveland International Film Festival, the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival, the North Hollywood CineFest, the Independent Shorts Awards (Gold award for Best Music Video), the CA Women's Film Festival, the IndieFEST Film Festival, the Top Shorts Competition (winner of Best Song), and the Best Shorts Competition (multiple awards). I may just have to make another one of these! :)
