This is under the heading "Toot Your Own Horn". Monday I was checking email about 4 a.m. and got a nice surprise - Christmas in June. It was from Midwest Book Review. MBR is a respected org that has been around since the 70's. I have a series, "The Incredible Adventures of Vic Challenger". MBR informed me they reviewed the entire series! Not a common occurrence. If you write you will especially understand why I read it several times. I would like to share just the beginning.
Harkening back to the Golden Age of pulp fiction, "The Incredible Adventures of Vic Challenger" uniquely features a young female heroine in a new series of nine (and counting!) novels by Jerry Gill that combine action/adventure with elements of classic science fiction in the kind of narrative storytelling style that is associated with such legendary authors as Edgar Rice Burroughs, H. Rider Haggard, and Robert E. Howard.
