Hi All!
My name is Gerald Hanks. I'm based in Houston, Texas.
I have been a screenwriter, script consultant, screenplay contest judge, and coverage report writer for the last eight years.
I have had several award-winning shorts produced and have written five feature-length scripts, including two scripts that were optioned and two paid commissions from private clients.
My feature-length script "Scaredy Cat" was a finalist in the National Lampoon Comedy Gold screenwriting contest.
My screenwriting blog "Story Into Screenplay" is one of the top 50 screenwriting blogs, according to Feedspot.com.
I have also moderated and served on panels at conventions such as Comicpalooza in Houston, Texas, and Louisiana Comic-Con in Lafayette, Louisiana.
I'd like to share some of my stories as a writer, consultant, and judge to help out some aspiring screenwriters.

Hey, Gerald Hanks! My name is Kay, I'm the Community Manager here at Stage32. Nice to meet you! Wow, that sounds like a lot of fun! I used to visit SciFi conventions by volunteering as security to I could attend for free - strangely enough, never been to a Comic Book Convention, though!
Also, I have a TON of family in Houston - who knew it was such a hub for the film industry?!
