Stage 32! It’s been a while. I’ve been a member for a couple of years now, but I figured I’d re-introduce myself considering how long it’s been since I’ve been active on here. I’m a sound designer and editor with a background in film and TV animation, who spent the last couple of years in LA before back to the Chicago-area once the pandemic hit.
I’ve been slowly transitioning into the world of podcasts, both interview-style as well as audio drama/fiction. If anyone wants to do business and needs help with their podcasts, please reach out. I'm still game for any film, animation, web series, documentary, etc. that needs sound services, too.

It feels like no one wants to do sound, and here you are totally focused on it! FANTASTIC! In your demo reel, just to clarify, you were responsible for sound effects only? Not music or voice over? How are you liking producing Podcasts?

Hi Karen! Thanks for the feedback! Yes it seems like on virtually every entertainment/media/production networking site, sound design is VERY under-appreciated and VERY over-looked (story of my life). The only thing that comes close in searches is for composers. And yes, I’m responsible for most if not all of the sound effects you hear. The music and dialogue were finished before working on them. I’ll definitely check out and post within the Lounges you have mentioned. Thank you for the heads-up!

Wow... nice reel...very impressive. Great website too, very engaging. Did you create your website? I was hoping to hear one of your podcasts. It would be great if you could talk about producing podcasts in the producing lounge. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Gayle! Yes I did create the website myself, using Wix that is. I hope to start sharing one of the podcasts soon. The host pre-recorded a lot of the episodes before I was even brought on, and therefore the quality isn’t as great as I would like to present it as. It’s more about fixing it up rather than making it sound like a super polished production. If you’re still interested, I can point you to it. The other one is a fictional audio drama that is episodic and still production, so unfortunately I’m not at liberty to share it yet. I’ll be sure to post something within the Producer Lounge, soon!
