We've all done scene work so let's share! What's been your favorite scene to breakdown and perform because of its rich subtext? What were you able to play with that you brought to the scene that was never written but the writing allowed for that interpretation?

So many choices! Anything by Mamet. I directed "Oleanna" years ago and that was subtext heaven. I also directed "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolff" and that's all subtext too.....
