Hey there! My name is Michael Dean and I just joined Stage32. It seems like just what I've been looking for. I'm a Cinematographer and Editor based in the Midwest but am currently working on relocating to New York. I work on a variety of projects ranging from small promos for local businesses, to short narrative and documentary work. I'm really wanting to dive into more Social Justice and Environmental doc work. It's just something I feel really passionate about. I obviously work on many different kind of projects and looks though.
I would love the chance to talk with people in the doc world and ask some questions! I'd also like to talk with some other Filmmakers/Cinematographers based in New York to get some more insight as to what it's like out there right now considering the pandemic.
