In January 2021, 3 artistic folks, Lou Silver, actor, Rion Birchmore, Operations manager at ArtServe in Ft Lauderdale, and Sara Rogers, award winning acting coach came up with an idea that is taking off. We are doing a Cast/Pitch Fest. Sounds weird but there it is.
The event we envision has many components.
what we are in need of finding, and this falls on my shoulders, are 4 distributors that would be willing to come to ArtServe in November and be, for a novice word, "pitched" to. We are compensating the participants for their time, it is only 1 day and not even a full day at that. From 11 to about 5 pm - and our date is smack in the middle of the Ft Lauderdale International Film Festival, so if you are in town and want to pick up some cash. Contact me for the full details.
