New Here, Seeking Literary Representation and to Expand My Network

Hello Stage 32 Community!

My name is Lita Lopez and I am an actor/writer/producer. I filled all three of those roles with my first short film to hit the festival circuit, heading next to the Nevada Women's Film Festival in June. (So excited to get out of the house and head to Vegas, baby!)

Based in Los Angeles/San Fernando Valley since 2006, I've been an actor all my life and I am now shifting my focus to producing more of my own projects. I came to Stage 32 to learn more, meet likeminded creatives, find producing partners, literary reps and get some stuff made! I am currently working on pitching 3 female driven pilot scripts (2 comedies & 1 drama) and a Shakespeare inspired non-fiction manuscript that I am also developing as a limited series. Please check out my profile for log lines and synopses!

My mission for myself and my production company, Luna Loba Creative, is to explore the human condition, the wide diversity of human experience and to celebrate "Stories of the Soul." We emphasize creations by and/or about: women, indigenous peoples & people of color, those within the LGBTQ spectrum and any or all who may be under-represented in entertainment and current media platforms.

Doing my part to smash the patriarchy! I look forward to meeting others with similar goals.

Thank you for reading,

LL

Hi, Adelita, pleased to meet you. I've always been drawn to stories of the unrepresented. Wishing you the best of luck, and if you ever need any feedback or notes, please let me know!

Good luck in Vegas! Cordillera (in Reno) is at the end of July - it's a great festival, too!

Hi, Adelita E Lopez! Congrats on all the success with your short film. That's awesome! I love the mission of your production company. I think you would love the Writers' Room here on Stage 32; it's a great place for you to fulfill all your goals. You can work on those three pitches in our Practice Pitch Tank and when you're ready to pitch to an exec, you'll have the opportunity there as well. It's also a place we learn about the craft and business, give and receive coverage notes, hold writing cafes, table reads and so much more! To check it out for a free month, please email Jason MIrch (j.mirch@stage32.com), the Director of Script Services. All my best at the Festival!
