It's been great reading all your posts and so I thought I'd join in. I'm an L.A.-based advertising copywriter but a recent car accident has made me push myself to pursue a career in screenwriting. This year I've completed an hour-long sci-fi pilot, a sci-fi/horror feature, and a half-hour mockumentary comedy. I'm thankful to have had the hour pilot make it to the semi-final of the Stage 32 sci-fi contest, which is how I got here in the first place!
I'm currently building my base of work -- both in rewriting/finessing my current scripts and writing a new feature and pilot -- before I (dun, dun, dun...) attempt to seek representation. I have a heavy interest in sci-fi, so would love to connect with my fellow sci-fi nerds out there! -- as well as everyone else!
I know I have a long way to go, but I'm working as hard as I can on my dream, and I can't wait to talk to all my fellow dreamers.

Hi David, nice to meet you. I produced and starred in my own short film which I filmed at the beginning of this year thanks to a friend who owns a Nikon camera. I am also starting out as a new screenwriter and hunt-down writing competitions to gain more skills and experience. I enjoy Sci-Fi and mix it in with action and adventure.
