Introduce Yourself : Piet Marais Writer/Producer film and TV by Piet Marais ......

Hi, My name is Piet Marais, residing in Johannesburg South Africa. I am a writer/producer with 46 years of experience covering every creative department in television, from sport, magazine, documentaries to drama programmes(1500+ broadcast hours). Been independent since 1980 and decided ten years ago to upgrade my scriptwriting skills to enter the international market. Currently overseeing the rewrite of a film script, finalising the rewrite of my own film script and completed the concept, research and open story lines of a TV series based for production in South Africa. Lucky to have, in principle, private funding available for the three projects and will be looking at distribution possibilities in the near future.
