TRANSITION ZONE-A Romantic Adventure (*) In 1971 a socially awkward grad student must trek to the Amazon to collect a rare, venomous tree snake. Fredrico meets Sasha Anna- a strong, independent, impulsive woman- who studies isolated, indigenous tribes. In the Amazon they encounter drug-smuggling guerrillas, a tribe of cannibals, and a deranged army officer. It's Romancing to Stone meets Indiana Jones When Fredrico's Professor tells him his 10-year time to get his PhD has expired, Fredrico is devastated until he pitches the Amazon trek to collect the rare snake that the prof treasures. (1) My ex-brother in law was offered the same "trek", but he refused it because he had a clear path to completing his PhD. He told me several relevant adventures he had in the jungle.
(2) I barely earned my PhD in 9+ years, and I would have felt my life was waisted if time had expired.
(3) After visiting a new museum, I was looking at the Board of Directors when a Latino family looked at them. The father/husband said, "That Mexican (Dr. David Garcia) does not belong..." withe the others-Anglo men.
