Finally, my advice would be to consider putting together a pitch for your book. Do you see it becoming a feature film or a series? Would it be PG-13 or rated R? Who would you want to play the lead characters, if you could pick them? These kinds of details in a document (as short as two pages) could be something you send to a production company before asking them to read a book.
Oh, definitely reach out to David Zannoni as well - he's a consultant that works with the Spanish-language markets and might have some good advice as to how to proceed with your book.
