Hello a few weeks ago I posted on the 'introduce yourself lounge' that I was going on to produce my first short film. Unfortunately, key crew members are now unable to make it for the one-day shoot. Please, if you know any means I can fund this, I am beyond grateful to know.

Hi Amarachi Nwaozuzu, I’m so sorry this happened to you. You’ve learned a hard rule of filming - Always have a back up plan!
Anyway, as far as funding, you may have to get extremely creative. YouTube should have some videos on how to film with a shoestring budget.
By what date were you planning to start filming?

I have a question - is money the thing they require? Some young filmmakers just want a chance to do cool things, so if you can secure a cool location or cool equipment, then they may be willing to work for free. The one thing you should maybe pay for is their meals on set any travel if they have to drive or fly.

Yes money is the thing here. Yea. I did make arrangements for the feeding and transportation but you know...

Amarachi Nwaozuzu Why don’t you post in the Jobs section? A lot of people find like-minded collaborators that way. Also you can post in the other Lounges for Producers Filmmakers and Screenwriters. Be sure to put your Location. Some people have discovered other filmmakers in their own neighborhoods using Stage 32! Let me know if you need more help.
