Screenwriting : When the Coverage makes you rewrite... by Valerie Connelly

When the Coverage makes you rewrite...

I just want you all to know how terrific Michael Schulman's coverage skills are. He truly opened my eyes to the very things I needed to know to take my script to the next level. I have never experienced ideas popping like popcorn in a hot pot the way I did with Michael. He dug into the "guts" of my script and opened my eyes on how to take it from good to --- well. lots better. I hope you all have a chance to work with him at least once.

I completely agree. I did a consult with him two weeks ago and it was incredibly constructive. He is also very easy to talk to, which I don't find to be the case with most script consultants. At the end of the conversation I wasn't overwhelmed with "oh no, I need to make all these changes." Instead it was more like, "wow, I can't wait to incorporate these ideas into the story!"

Great to hear, Valerie Connelly. I had a similar experience. It was the Stage 32 Feature Script Read/30-minute Talk. His name is Michael Wormser.

So glad you had a great experience with Michael Schulman!
