No Line Producer, UPM, etc can guarantee you delivering a production on time, on budget. Depending on where you are possibly planning to shoot check the state and local film commissions for crew databases.
I don't understand. Are you making the film yourself?
On schedule and on budget are things that are partially dependent on our screenplays - were they written for budget and schedule? or are they logistical nightmares?
But we aren't hiring the UPM, the production company is.
UPMs can be valuable contacts to cultivate - because they do know lots of production companies. But you have to do that yourself.
