Don't often have time to post here, but I'm the owner of LA-based Pipsqueak Animation. We act as both a work-for-hire studio and as original content creators. We have sold and/or made shows for Cartoon Network, Disney, Defy Media, DreamWorksTV, Sesame Street and more. And we currently have a show with Oscar-winning Lion Forge Animation and are in production of yet another original short for Sesame Street. On the work-for-hire side we work in advertising, TV and film both for huge studios like Netflix (Bojack Horseman), Comedy Central, and Hulu (currently in production on a super secret show!) but also for a ton of medium and tiny companies. For instance, right now we're working on some cute animations for Rutgers University and tons of work for one of our favorite clients, StoryCorps. That's just part of the 20-odd pieces of media currently in production. We work with a ton of animation novices and are happy to discuss how we could potentially help out with your projects. This is neither solicitation nor an offer to work for free but having spent decades in the industry I know there is tremendous talent literally everywhere in the world.
Have a super weekend all.
You guys have worked with some BIG names, Mike Blum. I remember watching "My Annoying Shadow." How's that going?

Hi Mike,
That's awesome. Currently I'm involved in an animation project based in Taiwan. I'm the writer on the project. You can check out the pilot here if interested.

Hi Mike! Congrats on all of your achievements!
I'm actually quite interested in writing for animation (I've actually written a short which I think could be good) but a few people told me that in the industry, in order to work in animation projects, you gotta know how to draw properly (and I can barely draw anything haha), so it kinda discouraged me from pursuing in animation stories... which is a pity, because I think animation has one of the greatest potential in communicating with the audience!

Welcome Mike Blum! Congratulations on all you success including the Emmy Nom. That is awesome! Great to have you in the community. I am sure a lot of budding animators and creatives would love to hear more insights from you. Be sure to check out our animation lounge here: https://www.stage32.com/lounge/animation

Luca Mannea you most definitely do NOT need to know how to draw to write for animation. Whoever told you that is just totally wrong. You DO know how to use the medium and tell stories that take advantage of what animation can do. You should always be able to answer the question "Why does this script NEED to be done in animation."
