Your Stage : "An American Sunset" Based on, the celebration of the life of Emmett Till by John Varkados

This particular team of creatives is made up of talented and passionate up-and-coming filmmakers trying to make a positive impact and break into the world of cinema with their unique perspective based on experience and collaboration. This particular project was an assignment given to Writer & Director John Varkados for his second Masters Degree in Dramatic Writing at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) for the Spring 2022 Quarter.

Prior to this program, Varkados graduated Boston University with a Masters in Cinema & Media Production in 2021 and Berklee College of Music with a Bachelors of Music with a concentration in Music Business Management in 2017.

Varkados' focus for the long-term is to rebrand himself as a creative filmmaker (specifically writing and directing), as opposed to his 5 years of focusing on working as an independent line producer and production manager.
