New 32 Productions is sponsoring a screenwriting contest for short horror pieces. First prize is $800.00; second prize is $400.00; third and fourth places are $250.00 each. We are looking for very short horror scripts of 10 pages or less and the contest works like this: Interested writers can go to https://www.new32productions.com/writerstable, read the rules, and click on the Application Form link. We are asking for applicants to include a short writing sample with their applications. New 32 Productions will select the 12 writers we think are best suited for this project and share some suggested short horror script concepts with them. Writers are free to come up their own ideas as well. Writers will have two weeks in which to complete and submit their scripts. The four winning scripts will be read live on zoom by actors.
