'm not new. I've been a member for about 7 years. I don't see much on this platform for writers of fiction and memoirs. So, I almost never drop by. At the moment, I'm looking for book bloggers who review books. I have a memoir coming out in just over a years. Does anyone here have any suggestions on whom to contact?. I'm so old., my favorite bloggers have retired or died! My last book was published 5 years ago. . In my 80's, I'm starting from scratch.

That you still write at such an advance age is really remarkable. I'm sure the world wouldn't want to lose your knowledge to the sands of time. I recently wrote a book myself, even though it could be the last I'll get to write. I thinks it's so beautiful how one puts a pen on a paper and write their thoughts and emotions, and how one types them... How a journey of many decades can be compiled and compressed into a few paragraphs... I would encourage you to keep writing Caroline Miller , and get to publish this memoir. I have cancer and no means to fully treat it because of lack of money, yet even in my frustration at the universe I wrote my book, I believe you can write your memoir too, regardless of any obstacle. One rule to follow is ; just write your mind!, you can always bend the rules! Caroline Miller

Hi Caroline Miller great to meet you. Regarding book bloggers the best place to look is Instagram and TikTok. If you have a publisher they should take care of this for you, but if you are self-published, things like having subscribers on your newsletter, putting it on NetGalley, BookBub and generally building a platform can all help. Try relevant hashtags for social media specific to your memoir and find others who are willing to read an ARC. Blog tours are a good way of getting reviews and raising awareness too, but do choose a reliable tour operator. I expect you know all this anyway, but just in case it is useful ;-)
