Real Amazon Advert Numbers for September

Once again, for anyone interested in what an actual return on investment is from Amazon pay for click adverts, here's my September numbers.

Sure, they suck. But, they're real.

I'd love to see what kind of numbers others are getting from this 'investment' in publicity.

Cheers!

Bummer! Editing my brilliant post pooned the screenshot evidence of my stupendous stupidity. Here it is!

Those stats are harsh! Do you pay for advertising anywhere else and get a better ROI?

Morgan Aitken

No, that's the only place I advertise. I have looked into doing Facebook advertisements, but, I am inherently lazy, there's a ton of stuff to learn to run Facebook ads and to top it off, I really can't stomach Facebook. Personally, I'd really like to hire someone to do this kind of stuff. Also, considering my entire existence and connection to humanity is entirely over the internet, it would seem that Amazon adverts are really my only option. If anyone's got any other ideas of how one can advertise from a sailboat adrift in a jungly lagoon on the equator, I'm all ears! Or eyes, considering I'm reading this stuff and not listening to it.

Facebook ads are a waste of time IMO. I tried it once and they tried to auto-renew several times despite my having cancelled. Absolutely zero impact.

@morgan - fivver.com has a lot of reasonably priced people who can help you navigate Facebook & different ad platforms. I use Facebook ads differently, for events - so it's a necessary evil in my life.

Ah D.E. White -- you wondered how to get a book on Prime... one word: LUCK

The attached screenshot says it all!

I only did it for a couple of days. I realized it wasn't worth the investment. Using social media has worked for me.

Morgan Aitken

Did what Puroney Dotson ? Amazon pay per click adverts, or Facebook ads?

Morgan Aitken

Amazon doesn't fly Jeff Bezos to the moon on profits earned for it's sellers. It does, however, on selling adverts to its sellers!

The carnival-like *you payz yer money, an ya takez yer chances!" Aspect to almost any selling on Amazon is no accident. It keeps the punters playing and paying.
