Screenwriting : When you fail but win at the same time? by Julio Torres

When you fail but win at the same time?

I've been stressing out about writing my first horror script. I even got the outline! And was ready to begin...but I just couldn't. Super weird and disappointing. However, I suddenly felt the rush to do another animation script and I did! In just 2 days. Its the first draft so its garbage, most of it haha, but I have a new script. Has anything like this happened to any of you?

Maurice Vaughan

Congrats on writing the first draft in two days, Julio Torres! I've done that before: Switch projects when I was struggling with the first one. Sometimes you just need to jump to another project so you can get into the flow of writing.

What type of Animation script did you write? 2D, 3D?

Kiril Maksimoski

If something don't work I kill it early stage (often within my head). Only get hooked if the story has a clear beginning and clear end (resolution)...this is why we go to cinema, so might as well be a reason imma waste some time on it...

Hi Maurice! Most of my script are 2D, I love animations like Gravity Falls, KND and The Owl House, always picture my scripts with that animation style

Maurice Vaughan

2D is my second favorite Animation style, Julio Torres. Stop-motion is my favorite Animation style.

Apply that same thinking to the horror and bust it out. You can go back as many times as you like. It just seems harder because you never did it before. Just start typing.
