I've been away in Japan, immersed in production & post-production, but I'm back bearing gifts. :)
A week ago I returned with the prize of a lesson & a documentary titled "Choreographer of the Soul" I created & directed in collaboration with NHK Japan which aired to125 million peoples' homes with really great viewer feedback. It airs again in ~5 hours.
There are many lessons I take away but the main one I want to share is the value of identifying:
1. What are you uniquely positioned to create?
2. Is there an audience who wants to see it?
If you can answer those two questions with clarity, I believe the project is much more likely to be a success.
My best!
Bohdan

Hi Bohdan Turok - what a beautiful poster, and congratulations to an astounding achievement on your documentary! Will you be submitting to the festival circuit too? And I love the questions you posed - very enlightening and creatively clarifying, wise words indeed!

Hi Shellie! Nice to read from you! ...and thank you for your kind words. I'm focused on narrative work in general so I haven't even considered festivals for this one but hmmm...you got me thinking...
