Screenwriter Who Is Hired to Adapt IP for Film Producers

I'm a working screenwriter who adapts IP (usually inspired by real people and true events) into screenplays on assignment for film producers, and also writes original screenplays (drama-comedy with a biographical, historical, and/or true story element, typically PG or PG-13 but not aimed specifically at kids). Recently, I've written a feature film script based on a timely epic novel by Alex Rosenberg set during World War II and inspired by a true story, and a TV pilot script and pitch deck for a limited series based on a novel by Edgar-Award-winning mystery novelist Thomas H. Cook, on assignment for film/TV producers in L.A. The producers are now going out with both those projects to seek partners for financing and distribution. I also write YA historical novels (BETSY AND THE EMPEROR; etc.) for Simon & Schuster, one of which was previously optioned, along with my screenplay based on it. Between screenwriting assignments, I'm a longtime freelance screenplay analyst in the film business, formerly for Warner Bros. Pictures and the William Morris Agency (before it was WME), and currently for screenwriters and indie producers, for whom I'm also a screenwriting coach and consultant. ISA recently named me one of their Top 25 Screenwriters to Watch in 2023. I appreciate all the info and support from Stage 32 and its community..
