Getting close to finishing my new book and I was planning on self publishing with Amazon as I did my previous few books. Is there anything I can do to help market and advertise the book? I am thinking it's probably best to start marketing before release and draw hype for its actual release date somehow. Any advice?

Congratulations! As others have said, hit the socials to generate a buzz pre publication, a bit of PR, some ads to drive your targeted audience, and finding the bloggers who might like to review an ARC and spread the word organically.
