Hi Everyone - for those that don't know me, I'm Niki and I'm the Operations Manager of Development Services at Stage 32. I believe firmly in the strikes and the power of unions. I also feel strongly that AI needs to constantly be addressed, discussed, and assessed as we move forward in this technologically infinitely advancing world. I don't believe in fear-mongering, just making sure that we always be aware of the world around us. On a lighter note, I just watched the most recent episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and it was a delight. I am truly in love with the series. Looking forward to meeting everyone this weekend!

I believe firmly in the strikes and the power of unions too, Niki H. I feel the same way about AI. It needs to be addressed now instead of later.
"Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" is the Animation series, right? I've been watching "The Office." I didn't know the show was soooo long. I'm glad though. :)

Maurice Vaughan Strange New Worlds is live-action. Prodigy and Lower Decks are the animated series. You've got entertainment for a while with The Office!

Oh ok, Niki H. I wanna check out the "Star Trek" Animation series. I might check out "Strange New Worlds" too. I watched one of the older series growing up (maybe more than one), but I can't remember which series it was.
Yeah, I thought "The Office" was like 4 or 5 seasons. It's 9 seasons!

Hi Niki H! Thanks for sharing! I'm with you - support the strikes as much as we can!

The whole streaming service setup is a step in the wrong direction for music, tv and film as far as I am concerned. Nothing wrong with studios and copywrite owners providing a subscription service to access their back catalogue and promote new projects but the whole Netflix, Amazon Prime thing is not sustainable and has a negative impact on everyone in the industry apart from the chief executives, especially when it comes to residuals.
