2 Awesome Secrets to Looking Into Lens While Using Free Teleprompter Apps
I recently had to shoot a 2-minute video from home and needed to use a teleprompter. Since I don't need a teleprompter for home auditions very often, I only wanted to use a free prompter.
My biggest issue was not being able to look directly into the lens while reading the words. I finally figured out a workaround that I share in this video.
If you have any other suggestions for being able to use a free teleprompter app and be able to look straight into the lens of the camera, please share it in the comments section of my channel.

Great video, Aaron Marcus. I also posted this comment on your video. I’ve been thinking about something. What if actors can’t stop laughing during a scene? Probably on a Comedy movie or show. Do you know any ways actors can stop laughing so it doesn’t take up time on set? That’s an idea for a video.

Hi Maurice, great question and great topic. I have found that sometimes it just happens. And, at some point you just have to fight your way through it. But, as I am sure you have seen in many out takes, it can take a little while to finally get through the material. Thank you so much for the suggestion. I am always open to hearing other great ideas from you.

Great info Aaron Marcus . Love your setup on the books. My biggest issue is light reflection on my glasses. I've seen a few videos on this but haven't really found one that helps.

Maybe you could talk with an optometrist about non-reflective glasses. Is there a way of having the lights placed at a different angel where the reflection isn't so great?

Aaron Marcus I think you're right in that the secret is somewhere in the light placement and angle. Just hadn't found it yet. I'm wearing anti-reflective glasses now and they don't work so well.

You are very welcome Leonardo. I remember what it was like getting started. It was really hard for me. I didn't have anyone to turn to for help or for guidance. I always knew that if I ever had any success, I would try and help others. That is one of the reasons why I love giving both in-person and virtual workshops as well as private coaching. Thank you again for your kind words. Please help spread the word about my channel with your fellow actors.https://www.youtube.com/c/aaronmarcusactingandmodelingquicktips
