Introduce Yourself : Freelance Editor, and Documentary Producer/Director by Nick Aquilino

I recently edited a feature film which was given a Best Editing Award here in Marina del Rey, and this, combined with the fact that one of my previous editing gigs is running on Amazon Prime, has motivated me to begin to network with other up and coming filmmakers to help them make their projects a reality. I began my life in film back in the late 1980's when I started out as a Producer's Assistant, and gradually found a niche in the editing profession in the early 1990's.

Since then, I have produced, directed and edited my own films, had a no-budget feature film released on DVD and into the worldwide feature film markets, and now am confident that I can provide other filmmakers with the skill and expertise to get their ideas into production and on the screen. I welcome any opportunities to help a novice gain recognition for their work, and hope that I can be of service to anyone who needs help.
