BIOGRAPHY OF SIMONE IZZO -SCREENWRITER-DIRECTOR FILMMAKER AND STORYBOARDER

Simone Izzo was born in Rome on 07/12/1983, graduated as a surveyor (vote 90/100) and is studying civil engineering in Rome (with a scholarship won in the first year). He left college after the death of his father (at the age of 16), living with his mother , Anna Maria (a professional singer and actress in the 1960s and 1970s). He began to take his first steps in show business at an early age as an impersonator of teachers at school and Italian personalities, enjoying a certain success. He worked for many years as a draftsman in an engineering company, and despite his economic hardship, he did not give up and began to establish precious relationships in the world of film and television. He studied at the film Italian film school “WILD PATH” in Rome with the master Franco Ferrini (once upon a time in America), learning all the secrets of the craft and directing in the same school with Samuele Sestrieri. (The Tales of the Bear). He begins filming two small short films; LIFE DREAMS AND NIGHTMARES telling a typical day at home during the pandemic and the nightmares of the covid virus due to lack of air, and another short film 7 DAYS in which a mysterious alien life form takes possession of your home by subjecting it to a test of resistance without water or food and forcing him to make a final choice, Return to a primitive being without reason. Both short films are a great success on YouTube with many views (Dreams of life and nightmares 151 views, while 7 days 205). In 2017 he began writing the first script, a spin-off of the famous HIGHLANDER series by DAVIS AND PANZER called HIGHLANDER THE FIRST IMMORTAL (not produced), enjoying great success and enthusiasm among many Hollywood and world actors. He later completed his first unpublished dramatic work called WHEN WE WERE GUYS, which tells a story of bullying, desire for redemption, and revenge. The script is hugely successful, winning many independent Bollywood festival awards;
