Hi, I'm Shane Taraschke, a film producer and director with over a decade of experience in the industry. I have worked on various genres and formats, from horror documentaries to historical dramas, and have won several awards for my projects. I'm also the founder and organizer of the Horror Haven Film Expo, an online event that showcases the best independent horror films from around the world every three months. The expo is open to submissions from any filmmaker, regardless of their budget, location, or experience. The winners of each quarter are selected by a panel of judges. The winners receive cash prizes, recognition, and feedback from industry professionals.
But that's not all. The Horror Haven Film Expo also hosts an end of year in person festival where the winners of the online quarterly expo will compete for a 1st look deal for distribution. This is a unique opportunity for the filmmakers to pitch their films to potential distributors, investors, and partners, and to network with other filmmakers and industry insiders. The end of year festival is held in a different city each year, and features screenings, workshops, panels, and parties.
